This is part one of a two part workshop.

At this, part one, session you will make the background for your felt picture

Part two sessions take place on either Saturday 3rd October or Saturday 7th November, you should book into ONLY one of these sessions to complete your picture.

At this session you will create the background for your own felt picture, by combining a mixture of colourful wools with warm soapy water, using friction and rolling to create a flat felt background.

The felt will then be dried before you return to complete the second part of the workshop,

The felt will then be dried before you return for the second part of the workshop, at which point you will style your own picture using barbed needles to stab and tangle the wool to create detail e.g. houses, birds, landscapes, flowers etc.
