It is a heavy duty knot used on sailing ships. Used as extra weight on the heaving line.\u003cbr\u003eThis workshop is tutored by ex sailor Robbie, from 'Robbies Ropework', who makes traditional decorative and functional knots into home decor.\u003cbr\u003eThe workshop is an introduction into this Red Listed ( dying or disappearing) craft of ropemaking and knot tying.\u003cbr\u003eAll materials and equipment needed will be supplied and everyone will leave with their own complete handcrafted key fob that started off as a piece of cotton yarn.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWhat We Need From You:\u003cbr\u003eYour name, email address and telephone number\u003cbr\u003ePlease also make us aware of any disabilities and special requirements e.g. mobility issues\u003cbr\u003eDuring the workshops, we may take photographs for use on our social media and on our website.
